Students from multiple schools participated in this weekend's Saturday Academy. UB's Liberty Partnerships offered Literacy Circles at Marva J. Daniels Futures Academy, where students read new books and created art projects inspired by the stories they read. Students were also given the opportunity to read independently, and won prizes for how many books they were able to read. With over 30 students in attendance, we can't wait for the next Saturday Academy event!
