Continuing the 2018 Spring Resilience Speaker Series, speakers Keith Davis and Clarence Lee visited East Community High School, where they inspired students to break through the challenges and limitations they may face. Recounting their own experiences with poverty, violence, and low self-esteem, Davis and Lee challenged the students to remember that their life is not defined by "the first half." Though the speakers' largely successful careers in professional football first attracted the students' attention, it was ultimately Davis and Lee's relability, candor and humor that captivated the students.
We hope the words of Keith Davis and Clarence Lee are forever engraved in the minds of these students, as Liberty Partnerships continues to work with them towards mastering their academic journey.
